Just who is Michael Walker Jr?

Heyo! My name is Michael Walker Jr, I'm your average 16 year old African American teen with a computer, some camera equipment, a knack for story telling... And most importantly, a dream. That's all we got nowadays amirite? Straight from the vivid suburbs of Long island, Right By Queens. I wrote stories in the womb and recited sonnets when the doctors patted my bum to see if I'd cry. Writing and creating visual art pieces that captivate audiences through relatable and detailed story telling is what really gets my creative wheels spinning. Creating short films and pieces of literature that delve into the topics of life we as everyday people don't discuss is what peaks my interest most. Unveiling the ugly truths behind our patterns and being as a collective in an introspective sense.

Writing, Creating short films, Creating engaging social media content... That's what my art entails. And this art and its very being is how i tend to my metaphorical "Garden". (Well... that and by making some money off of it but... We'll talk about that some other time...) (Buy a book!) But moving on. That's what my mission is in this life. Create... Create... And then create some more! Seeing how my art can impact individuals is what pushes me to strive for more. To strive to create even more. Its like an even cycle of good energetic karma.
